At 4h provincials with this drawing! yay!

Well, I entered this drawing:

in a 4-H competition, and it won jr. champion and overall champion, so I'm going to provincials!  Woop woop!

Sorry I havn't been around guys, I've been pretty busy lately. Nothing to show you at the moment, I just thought I tell you, I'm redoing much of the site, here are a few things I'll be changing:

-new template

-deleting the 'work in progress' page

-adding a 'photography' page

-finnaly get the newsletter going

-scanning all my work

and lots more!

You'll still be able to use the site while I'm working on it, so enjoy!

Bunny rabbit! So cute!

I painted this guy in acrylics and then went over him with a felt tip pen to give his fur texture. I think he turned out pretty good, considering he's my 4th rabbit picture ever and I'm not really comfortable with paint, I'm more of a drawer.I  hope you like him!

Ok, I skipped a few days, but I finished something! This is an Andalusian. I drew it in pencil, and it's the first thing in awhile that I haven't finished in one sitting. In my reference pic, the horse is on the beach, but I'm terrible at doing water, so he's in a rainstorm instead. Here's my ref pic:

Ok, smudgy grey cob pony, as promised! Finished him last night, I really like how his smudgyness turned out, all thought I'm not really chuffed with his outline. Believe it or not, my reference photo for him was a welsh A, I guess I should have given him more of a dished profile and smaller ears, but still, you live and learn. Anyway, here he is!

My very first blog entry, yay!

Here is my latest peice, I did him the other night, and I think he has to be my best pencil crayon drawing ever, althought his nostril is still bugging me. He has 14 differant colors in him, including red, orange, yellow, blue, pink, purple and several shades of brown. I drew his general outline from my head, but used a referance photo for the color, and I'm especially proud of how his forelock and the shading around his muzzle came out. Anyway, sorry for ...
